She continued to share how she told filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya that she didn’t want to work in films. Bhagyashree revealed that it was a fact that Barjatya couldn’t understand. Talking about the film, the actress added, “The subject was beautiful and I liked what he narrated to me. She revealed that each time she would come up with a new excuse. Finally, she said that the eighth time, she had no excuse, and gave a nod to the film. But on the eighth time, I couldn't make one up and gave my nod to the film.

Meanwhile, Bhagyashree also opened up about the experience of working with Salman Khan. She said, “It was a debut venture for all three of us--Salman, Soorajji, and me. Though Salman had done a film; this was his first as a hero. So, it was like going to college and we became buddies, which was beautiful. We were all so raw; there was no pretence.” Currently, on the work front, Bhagyashree has films Radhe Shyam that also stars Prabhas, and Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi in the pipeline.
